I am strongly considering this modification to my BRZ headlights and was wondering if spraying the Rustoleum reflective finishing spray over black paint in the hi-beam reflector would preserve most if not all of the output from oem but have a cool, black look like the OP's?

^ Nope. Won't work. Output would probably be 50% with reflective black paint. If you want to keep the high beams, retrofit a bixenon projector.

The BRZ is bi-xenon, I'm not sure what high beam reflector your talking about.. In the BRZ picture I posted with the demon eyes, I used the black chrome from rustoleum I believe and did the reflector to the blinkers, it "blacked" it out a little, light out put is down a bit but not a lot, as it can still easily be seen during the day.. I'll post pictures if I can find them

Mind posting pics of the front end? This is on my to do list and I'd love to see how it looks on blue before hand. I can't stand all the chrome

Thanks.

Got mine done this weekend, too. Chrome bugged me way too much.

Updated my black-out last month, here's the latest edition: yellow inner reflectors for the high beam/DRL's. Blacked out the turn signals too
