That looks a lot like Nevada, I drove down to Vegas and back from Calgary last summer, really have to watch your fuel use when you are flat out, but I still never top off even on long trips.

You shouldn't top off because you need room for expansion/contraction. Do not top off.

Yep, and you would be right about Nevada. When they say "no services for 110 miles" ..... they really mean "NOTHING FOR 110 MILES" ......

There's a sticker near the fuel cap of my 86 that specifically says not to do it, so no.
