My S70 has 300k km on it, still running strong! (True beater. hah)

1999 car is in Montreal, still runs
2008 car is in Ottawa, won't start

.. Go figure. Haha

GT6 Wednesday night

A bit of pre-planning, let's try an enduro this week, will start that race around 9pm.

Let me know what track you would prefer, else I'll just pick one tomorrow.

Suggestions:
  • Apricot Hill
  • Spa
  • Nordschleife
  • Grand Valley
  • Suzuka

Btw, upgrade your stock cars with Race Medium tires (35k credits each for Rocket, Nismo and Z06).

Will be easy if every race is on the same tire, everyone should have enough credits? (100K)

My Perrin Catback (2.5) is scheduled to arrive at my doorstep some time tomorrow

My FR-S is about due for the free 7.5k maintenance. I was thinking about getting the exhaust installed at Tony Graham at the same time. I've come to realize that the install can be a bit trickey. Not difficult, but should follow the manufacturers install specs (V-Band Clamp torqued to 75 in-lbs) plus can take some effort to get the tips aligned evenly.

My experience with service from dealer shops has been less than stellar. Sooo, any advice for a local shop that will do the job right the first time? Speedy on Merivale is the only alternative I have come up with so far.

Canadian Tire Carling - ask the service manager Ralph to get Phil to do the work. He's an instructor with the Motorsports Club of Ottawa - they do a lot of work for MCO members.
+1 for Ralf. Make sure you ask for him directly and mention you were referred by MCO members.
