You could go to the dealer and get an updated flash. But yeah, the OFT overwrites that info with its own. I didn't have any idle issues, just cold cranking.

On another note, my P0351 (misfire cyl #1) code DID come back after going back to stock with 91 oct. Time for a new coilpack.

Yes that, along with 30 new channels, will be available next week via auto update.

Shiv, I'm getting lots of e85 cold start issues. Is this something that can be fixed? It's stalled on me every day since it started raining (~3 days ago) ambient temps 56 F according to Weather.com

I'm very confused since I figured in Cali I wouldn't have to deal with this

Someone posted about adding cold start enrichment in one of the tables. if you did a search you should be able to find it. I'm in socal as well and I got the same every morning after the car has been sitting overnight.

How about 11.25? Seems pretty low to me, but I'm far from an expert.

That's on 1.42 stage 1 tune, I flashed to 1.56b tonight and will grab a log from that tomorrow to see if it's much different. It was running a pretty horrible IAM (0.11-0.12 at the time of the log), would that effect AFR that much? It had learned up to about 0.6 before I flashed to 1.56b, so I don't think it was knock related? I also noticed that on the 1.42 tune it started off at 0 but on the 1.56b tune it started off at 1.

Car is mostly stock, just a perrin 2.5" catted front pipe and 2.5" resonated exhaust.

That was my initial experience as well. However, every since I've been adding 2 gallons of 91 octane gas to every tank of e85 I've never had another problem. It fires up on the 1st crank even with temps in the low 40's. The advance multiplier is always pegged at 1.0 and the fuel trims are right where they should be. Maybe it can be fixed with enrichment tuning but I'm fine with having to blend a little gas for now to get all of the benefits of running e85.

Pretty sure @Luckrider has done some mods to cranking enrichment tables that worked well.

Thanks good suggestion I'll look into this after more logs.

I did see the cold start enrichment fix, but was hoping to get a response from @shiv@vishnu status with the OTS tune. I'd think it should handle rough starts better. I'd even love to see another tune like "stg 2 e85 el (winter)" or something.

Anyway, I'll probably end up trying both solutions thanks guys and I'm glad I can edit this myself. Just might be something to consider for the OFT otb.

What brand of fuel do you buy? Propel? They seem to have a lot more ethanol than other brands. Did you have one good tank with no cold start problems then the second e85 tank had them? You'll need to enrich the cold cranking tables, especially the RPM cranking table, around 60 degrees F and below. I get great cold starts this way. PM me your email and I can send you a ROM that handles it.

Or you can do as suggested and just add a gallon or two of 91 to every tank. I don't want to do that because then the ethanol level fluctuates quite a bit.
