Avoid constant speeds for 1000 miles? Derf... Going to take a while to get to 1000 miles just with city driving.

Hmm, do they mean for long periods of time? Like what about short 30 minute trips at like 65-70 mph or so on the highway?

Yeah that's new.. the autoshow team I spoke to confirmed it was available on the BRZ and I really see no reason why it wouldn't be. It's not going to kill SoA to lose $250 on the cars, especially since few people will even use it..

Could argue the same thing about VIP. While it is more money, doubt the number of people wanting the car right away would wait 6 months to be eligible.

True I suppose. It's a lot less money and I can see blocking an entire program compared to something like the autoshow thing, which likely is a metric that's used to determine how well they are doing their jobs...

Doesn't matter. $250 off of an unknown pricing is what? ERROR?

30 minutes should be fine just don't use cruise-control, don't do long road trips, avoid extreme acceleration, and extended idling

Also extreme braking. Want to slowly wear in the brakes. Don't want to warp them either.

I'll add all that in the original post

I also need to fix the brake size. I'm finding two different sizes
front 11.6, rear 11.4
front 16.0, rear 15.0
If anyone can confirm the actual size

both can be considered correct. The first one is the size of the rotors as we know them, the second is the less accurate "JDM" measurement method.

Update: I've been told that Servco Subaru of Honolulu is receiving 5 in the initial shipment. And again, they aren't taking pre-orders, the 5 will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

Don Miller Subaru is getting 12, 6 to DM West and 6 to DM East.

This is the only allocation I've seen for Wisco so far, Don Miller is the only dealer in the Madison/Dane area. Next one is in Janesville.
