That would be my solution, basically wrap the thing maybe put some cushion underneath where it mounts, not sure. What I do know is that when you take apart interior pieces (especially on budget cars) they almost never go back in the exact same way.

Coming from a topped out Infiniti, the sound system could be better, but it isnt that bad.
But the shift take up is so much smoother than that damn G. Overall i am extremely happy with my car and everything i can complain about can be easily remedied. |

This list means nothing in the long run, I adore this car...
That said, 1 - Rattles inside from stereo are embarrassingly bad. 2 - Fuel Mileage is not bad, but not great for a 2.0l - my MKV Gti put it to shame with more weight, more power, etc and a turbo on a 2.0 3 - Had to tape down the emergency trunk release pull because everything in the trunk would pull it open while I drove around the first week. 4 - Exhaust is quiet (I understand) but the tips are embarrassingly poor looking and tiny. 5 - crickets 6 - Torque dip NOW, pretty much all of those are easy enough to fix/mod/etc but SO close to having it brilliant right out of the gate, you can't help but wish it'd have been a bit closer. |

I mounted an alpine amp to the back of the box. It has a shallow mount sub and the box was designed to go under a front row car seat (not ours, mind you). The whole thing is about the size of a shoebox, only not as thick. I stood it up on end, and added a little bracket to keep it from tipping over. The bottom is lined with high strength velcro on the trunk floor. It BARELY affects trunk space, is plenty of boom for such a tiny cabin, only weighs about 10lbs max even with the amplifier, and doesn't move at all (autocross tested once and it was fine). I already had the amplifier, so it was a 140 dollar investment (loaded sub box plus amp wiring kit) - best thing i've done to the car so far - now I can turn the bass waaaaay down on the interior stock speakers and it makes them sound a bit better when they aren't pushing so hard. I later replaced the dash speakers, now I'm totally content to leave the rest. Sure, bigger badder systems would be great, but I barely spent over 200 dollars and if it sounded like this day one, hardly anybody would feel the need to upgrade. |

I noticed my seat is starting to warp under my behind (middle of seat) sits beneath the fabric there is an invert like a hole (covered by outside fabric of course) on both seats is anyone experiencing this too???
Found this out while sitting and feeling the seat since turning up the heat feels like I have heated seats Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk

I've said it before but I'll say it again...... I HATE that it is so easy to scrape the underside of the nose. I'm trying to be careful but after a year I'm still doing it. I'm looking into fitting a camera to the front which should help but it is a fundamental flaw in my opinion. I'm bad at judging but it is not only me. EVERY one of these cars I've looked at has evidence.
Why can't there be a hinged front lip panel with a roller ramp at the front that can ride up? At least for low speed contact. Millions of cars could benefit. Such cars could look good and have better aerodynamics/fuel economy.
