Not at all.

Like I have mentioned more than a few times in this thread, John Reed is an extremely busy tuner, and has not been able to dedicate 100% of his time to our parts. 4 Days after he was on the dyno with our car he back to the east coast for more on site tuning, including a stint at the 100 Acre Wood Rally with another one of his race teams. Currently he is on site at Underground Racing, you may have heard of them, doing some more tuning work.

So no, while the wait on getting the numbers back for our parts has been long, it is not something we are "giving up on", just going to take some more time before our tuner is actually around to tune instead of off working.

Obviously in a perfect world we would have every bit of data already and have it available for everyone, but we don't have our own on site facility, so we have to enlist the help of one of the best tuners in the country.

Again, as soon as we have more information to post, it will be up. In the meantime, we will keep working on the header fabrication in efforts to get them out the door in a timely fashion.

I hope this is all true, I've been watching this thread for a long time now and am genuinely interested in your products. But, I have a hard time believing you settled on a design without knowing what it would do.

John tuned my buddy's big power Supra. He can be, err... problematic to schedule at times.

I'd trade 100 dynos for one good driver at the drag strip. This is the best thread for a real look at how a set of NA headers perform: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54653
The only evidence I've seen for S2k performance on 93 octane (NA.)

Nameless's dyno if my calculator is right is only 7% increase at the flywheel (as if Toyota was rating it.) IOW's not in S2K territory. The link above would be a quite bit more if the simulators are right.

Of course an over pipe/hiflow cat front pipe might put the Nameless on top a little.

Area under the curve can be measured from a graph with more precision and consistency than from a 1/4 mile pass. Not to mention, drag racing leaves out a ton of information as it doesn't show any of the low to mid range. Unless drag racing is the only intended use for the header, your proposed test would be completely flawed.

Also, there are a lot of other factors in getting a car down a 1/4 mile than just power. My 140 whp neon used to do mid 14's and would shame mustangs off the line.

Customer service pet peeve: Saying "you may have heard of X" makes you look like a condescending mean person. Limit the use of that phrase, as it will make people hostile.

The phrase wasn't being used to refer to John Reed, so it's not being used in the way you're referring to. Also, reading into something in written form is a mistake on the reader's part as much as the writer's, since the reader is imposing a certain tone on what they're reading. It should be taken with a grain of salt. Assuming the worst tone only provokes drama, and you see it all over the Internet. If read in a more positive light, such a phrase can be used humbly and casually in a variety of situations without sounding condescending at all.
