We are alive and well, but we have been extra busy in the shop lately, leaving little time to be on the forum. I will post up some pics later, and I hope to update all our threads and the website this weekend!

Installed pics

Here are installed pics. Need some more tuning, but so far, so good.

Build quality is 10/10. The thing is superbly made. fit is perfect. Drove around, and the sub is very secure with the mounting point used.

Well, I like it.

I'm using in dash:
HAT L1v2
HAT L3v2
HAT L2x
In door:
HAT L6
In rear
HAT L3

Amps:
Front run off of Rockford T400
Rear and sub run off of Arc KS125.4

other:
3Sixty.2 for Equalization
Pioneer AVH-x8500BHS for HU (soon to be replaced by AVH-4000NEX, FLAC playback!)

it sounds pretty good so far, but I've been tweaking the tuning to get it right. To give you an idea of what I'm doing, I only need to blend in the sub at 50Hz, (using 50Hz LPF for Sub) as those Hybrid Audio speakers rule.

how are the HA mids without an x-over? my peerless hds' seem happiest without any x-over even at full tilt.. though the last car, i ran a 50hz x-over just to get the impact in the low end from a sub..

I've run both ways. 2nd order HPF at 50Hz for the front is a little cleaner in my current setup, but depending on the roll off of the midbass, I can see not using a filter. I'd have to check the frequency response on the scope, but for my HAT L6 woofers, they measure down to 32Hz. Beyond that, it's just balance and see what sounds good. The relative phase also makes a huge difference. (Time alignment is king.)

out of curiosity, what is the current ratio of box sizes actually sold to what people voted for?

I'll tell you that the percentage of each size sold compared to the total overall sales have held fairly close to the percentages in the poll. Currently the 8" enclosures comprise a little less of the overall enclosures sold than what was voted for but this is more than likely due to the fact that they are just being released to market and pictures of the finished product and ones installed are just being shared.

Percentage of Total Enclosures Sold:

10" Passenger Side: 44%
10" Driver Side: 6%
8" Passenger Side: 17%
8" Driver Side: 0%
10" Pair: 26%
8" Pair: 7%

Percentage of Orders Sent to Countries:

United States: 81%
Australia: 9%
Canada: 6%
Other: 4%

There has been a lot more orders from Australia than originally anticipated.

just got my 10" passenger side box today-- very impressed with the packaging.. i've had about 30 different brz-related packages in the last couple months, and this has been the only one that included a 'top' marking on the box, as well as an instruction manual that i didn't have to download or load off a cd...
