Again, where did I say anything about the FR-S?

It was speedR that brought up the VP of Scion.

In case you missed it I was asking where in the past did Toyota Europe's VP made such a statement....

So you didn't ask for links? I'm confused...

OMG... I asked the guy for a link to show me where in past has Toyota Motor Europe VP said no turbo GT86. Did you not seeing what we were talking about?

I never said anything about:

1. North America
2. Jack H (Scion VP)
3. Scion FR-S
4. Tada San

That is the issues, I wasn't talking to you at all buddy. SpeedR knows what I am saying since my past post stated Toyota Europe VP.

I'm not saying you guys are wrong, I'm saying a claim was made, it was challenged and I thought it would be nice to provide links to save everyone time.

Guess that's the last time I'll do that sheesh.

Where in HIS post did he claim a Toyota Europe VP said there would be no turbo?

That's the thing. I was talking about Europe's VP. He never addressed me and switched topics to Scion's VP. I am asking for a past statement where Karl S made such a statement.

Nice job editing your post.

But I'll answer it anyways. The link you posted was from the UK quoting that Tada San doesn't want turbos. That has nothing to do with the European VP confirming no turbos...

So I'm curious, why you asked for links if you didn't think his post was relevant?

Mission accomplished. Apologies if I seriously offended.

I keep telling you the same thing over and over. Maybe I did not state "link to Europe VP" statement. But that was what I was asking since that I what I stated in my post before that, not the mention this whole thread is in regards to: GT86, Europe, and Karl S.

This whole thread has gone to hell. Feel free to lock it up mods or just deleted the whole damn thing.

This is what you get for trying to share GT86 news....

Besides the DI system, what components are Toyota's own? It would mean if Toyota wanted to increase the displacement, they would have to source Subaru's engines in the future as a primary supplier...that, or put in their own engine. Subaru, on the other hand, can just remove Toyota's DI system and put in their own.
Toyota owns +/- 15% of Fuji Heavy Industries, Subaru's parent company.
