Same situation with you Brandon. I think once BRZ price / OMV is out, we can roughly estimate 86's price.

true.... currently in the new Top Gear magazine, it mentioned that the estimated price for the 86 is around 25,000 pounds.... looking at this price, i really think that if i pay a $200k for 86, i will be a laughing stock by international friends.... =) so will wait for COE to be reasonable..... no choice, i am just a humble driver in sg...

And they place it around the range of Scirocco. If it is close to 1.4L, den it is around $140,000 (I hope). But if it is close to 2.0L, den you are right at $200K.

With that amount of dough, we can get 4 GT86 in UK

Hey all.

I just had a call from the guys at Borneo Motors with an update on my order.

They told me that the first cars will be in Singapore end of next month/ first week of May but not available to be shown to the public until the launch. They apparently can't show it in the showroom until its passed LTA clearance.

BUT, they said that the people who have registered in their online system will be invited to a secret first viewing as soon as it arrives and you can only attend if you have registered.

If you have any friends who are remotely interested in the car you have to tell them this.... clearly they are looking to give priority to the people who have shown early interest.

I've just checked the link if you want to forward it to anyone. www.youcanuseit.com/pre-prm/toyota/gt-86/

you guys are really rich lol.. I would not even spend that much if my salary is 100k+ annually.
To me, exotic cars in singapore are only used to show off and pick up chics.. not so much a driving experience.

just my 2 cents

i know what you meant... i have a colleague who just came back from the States from studies.... he mentioned to me that after his stint there, he really feels the large difference in cost of sg's cars...... and he had stopped his car changing habit since he is back....

I heard that is Motor Image boss's car.

Good news that it has passed LTA test and is ready to be on the road. They seems to be having a launch party at 4th April.

Bad news is that the BRZ start at SGD 178,000. You have to sell your organs just to buy the COE.
