Very true and my first car was not much better a 3rd Gen Z28 that couldn't get out of its own way.

I basically gave my 2nd 3rd Gen away I was an idiot for that one.

My last 3rd Gen was a restore project, 350, T5 and G92 I believe was the designation rear end. Obviously it came as a 305 with the T5 and the swap to the 350 was done. Sold it to someone out of state.

Sounds like some projects should be revived. I would be happy to take that Mustang off your hands @B.Rice85 as Cheyenne really wants one.

I've only gone through a couple pages of that thread.

Please punch me in the goddamn face if I ever get that stupid with my car. It's obvious I don't know a lot yet about this car, or cars in general (I'm the same age as him, actually), but I was worrying about my oil at 1,500 miles.

I'm going to actually order the oil I was looking at today, and the filter. K&N HP-1004 for $12.

I'm thinking of going with the 12 pack of Eneos Sustina on Amazon. I'll save the other 6 bottles for the next change I don't get at the dealer. Or if someone wants them, I could always sell them.

Edit: I am an idiot, I thought that was Sustina. I'll just get the 6 pack for $70.

You're not that kind of idiot if you realize you don't know much and instead of making excuses, try and remedy the problem through recommended maintenance and educating yourself.

Ford sell a complete swap kit, Computer, Harness, Motor everything for the 5.0L Coyote motor... would be an excellent swap for an older Mustang in my opinion.

I really want to find a 428cj block for that car and try to keep it oldschool muscle.
