Cars hat haven't been released yet are typically locked and roped off. That was the case with both in Chicago when I was up there.

I was just there... they DO have a silver BRZ there, but they won't let anyone sit in it. (I am disappoint)

Also, the Scion guys DO NOT have an FR-S on display (I am very disappoint)

All in all it was cool to see the BRZ there, but frustrating that you can't get inside :\

In Washington DC the BRZ was roped off, but anyone except a child was invited "behind the rope" and could explore the car, inside and out, to their heart's content. It helps to visit when the floor traffic is low...
