Harr, you got it bad, too! Congrats, great first post and although the A/T is best of breed, I'm with you on M/T rewards.

To the new 10 Series owners. Just out of curiosity.. why you did you decide to go for the 10 Series, when the Monograms are at some dealers, or on their way in a very short bit.

Did dealers give you a deal on the 10 Series? Was it the color? Did dealer not have allocation of Monogram? Couldn't get the color/transmission you wanted in Monogram? Didn't know about the Monogram?

I was originally looking for a Brz limited, but came across this. Bought it Certified used from a toyota dealer with 380 miles on it. piad $22K out the door so i felt like it was a good deal.

I liked the color, the ignition silver looks great during the day/night. As far as the monogram goes: I prefer not to have the spoiler, I live in SoCal so the heated mirrors/ windows are pretty pointless and leather seats are a wash if not a negative. I got a good deal on this as well, and I like the badges and other 10 series specifics. Wasnt worth the extra few thousand for the navigation/audio, imo.

Hey guys, just grabbed my 86 yesterday after a harrowing ordeal at the dealership. Got number 264/2500, decided to go 10 series over the monogram because I got a pretty good deal on this 2013. Also, like everyone has said but I never believed it, the color is WAYY better in person.

Congrats! The color definitely grows on you and others always say how much they like the chameleon effect. My neighbor prefers it over his LFA Metallic Silver color and I agree, the four step pearl coat adds so much more beauty than a three step metallic coat finish. But admittedly I'm hooked after canceling a Monogram on order to keep my 10 Series. Hell, I've even grown to admire the mocked glowing badges (and the interior panel backlights can be turned off if desired)!

I live in socal and find heated mirrors to be Very useful, well for "high-elevation areas" or coastal cities at least. Then again if I had a garage I wouldn't have to worry about any of that .
