Dang, that sucks to hear. Not trying to rub it on, but it's really fun and worth taking the time if you can make it out to one. Auto X looks decent too, but there's really nothing like a good track day.

Seriously considering this coilover set... Sounds awesome! The only thing that sucks is that they aren't track capable... even though I've had my car for 7 months and only been to the drag strip (and this set is perfect for the drag strip) but I want to track the car at some point...

Is that the company that 'gave away free' coilovers that the person had to buy first, then get reimbursed after a 'neutral' review?

Stick to proven quality. RCE and CSG Mike will point you in the right direction.

Soft ride... Roads are pretty bad here, I don't want something harsh... and after my experience with the GC Coilover kit, I want something that's as close as OEM ride, gives me between 1 to 1.5" drop, doesn't use the stock shocks, and I don't want to pay more than $1500...

keep at it, you can do it!

back when i was young and in shape (other than round, that is) i could pull high 4s to low 5 minute miles. i used to be a x-country runner, and i really want to get back into shape so that i can run again.

When you were young? I don't think you're not that older than me.

Age?

You can't have your cake and eat it to. Personally I'm waiting for the rce revalved B6's and their black springs. Should be about the price you stated and should be good for more than just stance.
