Yeah, I'm not really mad about the response time since I figured out my write synch problem and the OFH status was more of a curiosity than me expecting it to ship anytime soon since I just ordered it on 2/17.

I did just check my email and I don't have any replies so not sure if you didn't see those emails why that would happen. I checked and they sent successfully from my email account and they have the correct email address. So not sure.

Thanks for posting response though. Do appreciate that.

EDIT - email from you just arrived. Thanks.
EDIT2 - several back and forth emails with vendor today. They actually responded to my older email, but for some reason I never received their response. So actually my so/so customer service assessment has been invalidated today. Appears to be just fine with customer service... Thanks Vishnu Tuning!!

WOW, on the way home. It's a new animal. Way more responsive all over the powerband but especially in the midrange. Bravo Vishnu!! I'm very impressed with stage 1 and cannot wait to get my OFH to move up to stage 2.

Thanks for OFT and the free tunes!! I highly recommend this product.

After your reflashes, aren't you guys getting the dead/unresponsive pedal for a while? Or have any of you had success with the 'pedal to floor' thing that's done with the car in accessory mode?

i didn't use the trick and i only let my car idle over 5 minutes (not touching throttle at all after starting). didn't feel any dead/unresponsive throttle.

Ok i read the entire thread and i think my stupid brain is beyond confuse, heres why..

I keep seeing that you can just re flash the ECU to E85 map and filled up with E85 after tank is empty that simple?

So basically the BRZ fuel pump and injectors are meant to handle this? Then why is Viscontin and FA20club selling some "plug and play" E85 flex fuel kits? im very confuse.

What about buying the OFT for Vortech SC and E85?

Im very interested in buying this, just very confuse

I'm probably the worst person to answer this, but I believe with the kits you have to option to run E10-E85 and the sensor figures out what you are at, so no need to run a tank low before switching. With OFT, the tune is for E60 and up (I think Shiv said that somewhere). So you would need to get the tank close to empty before switching.

Exactly right. The flex kits have a much wider range, you can literally run any combo of E85 and regular gas. Shiv's tune is only recommended down to E60.

But if you think about it, most E85 is close to E85. It does vary by area, but you probably are not going to typically see it below E75. That gives you a gallon or two in the tank still of regular gas (normally E10 + rest normal fuel) to fill up from regular to E85 and still be at E60+ for Shiv's tune. Flex kits are "a lot of spend for a little flexibility" IMHO. I'm not interested.

Hi guys,
The sluggish throttle pedal is normal after a reflash (or even a battery disconnect/replacement). All you have to do is just drive the car and it will sharpen up over a day or two. The ECU just needs to learn the min and max throttle voltages before it can respond immediately to your inputs. It's really only a very small amount of learning. But it's related to the throttle pedal which is something we grown to be very sensitive to over years of driving

My pedal was poorly responsive for maybe 20 minutes, did some aggressive driving and it was normal again.
