O, the frog sounds! Thanks!

Please excuse me, I just spent the day daycaring for my 5 & 7 year old granddaughters (who were too sick to go to school). Spent the morning watching ..... sponge bob square pants cartoons ...... the afternoon putting together a plastic "Frozen" castle .... from the movie "Frozen" that I took them to a couple weeks ago.

Hey, life IS fun for ol Pa-Pa ..... after mrs humfrz got home to take over, I got to drive my FR-S up the road a couple of miles, in the dark and rain, to do the grocery shopping ....

Oh yea if this is with your Mrs/SO/GF/etc., they usually hate it. I'm talking about the kinda just met, young and wild ones.

Well it did back fire on me 2 summers ago when I first bought the car in June 2012. It was a long day of rafting and heavy drinking. The raft rental company drives your car down to the end point so you can drive home right after the rafting session. Needless to say, I was shit faced and thought it would be a good idea to drift around this big roundabout in the camping ground area. I just saw one trailer with a senior couple sitting on their lawn chairs, no one else but our rafting group. One of the girls wanted to sit in with me, so I went to town on this roundabout. Then we packed our things and left. Apparently the senior couple called the cops to look out for my car, and made a educated guess that we were from Portland and not farther out East, so they put multiple cop stake outs on the road going west (?) back to PDX.

I actually drove backwards, towards farther East, and did not realize until like 20 minutes in the drive (The canyon drive was absolutely gorgeous though). So we turned around, going the right direction and that gave enough time for the cops to stake out on several points. I passed one cop car, it started following me. Second cop car, started following me as well. Eventually they pulled me over for going 59mph on a 55mph (had the cruise control set on 59mph, thinking it was a 60mph zone..) and they received an anonymous tip from "someone" that a white sports car was recklessly racing around on public roads. At this point, 3 days of binge drinking has made me immune to alcohol, like when you are on a long vacation drinking all the time, you stop feeling "drunk" and kinda "normal" at this point.. being drunk. I'm sure alcohol was seeping out of my pores, which he quickly prompt me to step out and do the walk of shame. When I opened the door, I missed my door side arm rest, slip and tumble out of the car. The cop says "Don't fall yet, haha". Pretty much game over at this point. I did pass all the drunk test, but they took me in since he smelled alcohol.. What was the point of the walk of shame..?

Whole process sucked ass, going to court in the Dalles was no fun. I did do my diversion so it cleared off my record, but man the biggest let down was not being able to drive my BRZ for 3 months after only driven it a month after purchasing it.. To be honest, I did drive a lot drunk and I've always parked in my condo garage between cement posts and other cars no problem for 8 years. I've even driven hammered from Rosarito, Mexico to Portland with my buddy back in College as well.

Now I always take cabs when I go out, and to be honest, I may get flamed here, but its more for legal issues why I don't drink and drive anymore, and still doesn't feel that it is the inability to drive while sauced. I drove pretty damn carefully when I was buzzed, knowing I'm taking a risk. I know some friends that will turn in to a speed demon when they drink and drive. Never understood that. Or falling asleep while driving, wtf!?

I swear this fucking pre-workout has too much caffeine and shit.
