If you have the Grimmspeed plate relocator, check to make sure it isn't rubbing up against your bumper. Mine did, and now i have a nice circle shaped gash on my BRZ mustache.

i hate to steal business from forum supporting vendors, but for anyone who hasnt gotten a plate relocator and is looking, amazon.com has the 'platypus' plate bracket for like $70 PRIME and its been super solid for me.

Birthday is coming up next month. Thinking about getting a catback, I want something a bit more than stock but I'm not into super loud exhausts. This is my DD, too, so I don't want to be annoyed. Based on some videos I'm thinking of the Borla catback exhaust. Any other suggestions? The TRD doesn't seem bad but is too pricey for what it is, IMO.

What kind of sound are you looking for? Deep, raspy, closer to stock?

Also happy birthday in advance!

Then....why post it...?

It's $10 more expensive than Mach V sells it for...

I have it. No complaints. Local vendor ftw.

I want something closer to stock but ... deeper. Not a 'hay look at me' all the time sound but something more involved when I get those chances to hit wot. There is a small chance I might get uel headers in the future (saw a video with uels and the TRD exhaust which sounded great to me), but that would be months off. I'm really just jealous of that deep rumble of my friend's WRX at idle :p

Check out HKS' exhausts, especially the Hi-Powered Spec L exhaust. They're not loud but they're deep. I want mine a bit raspy. I'm looking at the M7 Japan exhaust myself, but it'll have to wait.

The sound will change the more you swap out like headers and overpipe. Good luck with your search.
