TRD Kit (Now or Later)

Sorry for my ignorance as I have never bought any TRD kit (or any aftermarket parts) before but I am liking the TRD kit a lot.

My questions is whether it would be better to get the car now and add the kit later or wait til the kits are out and get them then?

Will the dealer take into the account that since I will not be using the stock parts (i.e. wheels, seats and etc), the prices for the kits will be lower (think trade in) compared to the later add-ons?

Your input will be very much appreciated.

it's up to the individual dealer if they offer trade in.

apparently TRD parts wont be available until the end of the year. so u might have to wait until 2013 for your car.

what most people do is just sell the stock parts on forum/ebay.

Yeah I think it would be best to buy TRD parts sep and fit them myself.

that way if you scratch it or what ever you will still have stock ones to replace it with

That is exactly how I want my car to look Slide.
Unfortunately I dont think I can afford or want to spend on the TRD brake kit that cost as much as a brand new Suzuki Alto...

6/4 big brake kit isn't necessary for stock spec for sure.

Since I will be getting the aftermarket wheels and rear spoiler, I wonder I could ask the stealer to give me the car with just steelies and without spoiler to cut the cost down a little.

Has anyone done anything like that at all?

To my knowledge yes you can with some cars but others you can not, i believe the 86 you couldnt.

Reason, im lead to believe its the way the car leaves japan, if different alloys are offered here then you could keep the steelies from factory as alloys are added locally but id say its only an alloy wheel option for us so there wouldnt be any steelies to give you, same with spoiler, Toyota Aus wouldnt take parts off just to save you a buck unless the parts were added locally.

Source, an old friend still working at Sydney City Toyota. Whether it happens like this still i wouldnt know, cant hurt to ask thou, but i wouldnt expect your wish's to come true.

Yeah they will leave Japan with the alloys and spoiler on them. So the dealer won't change the car from standard for you.
I want the TRD kit and especially the exhaust... But it will likely be hell expensive.
Sadly the exhaust won't work on a stock bumper :/

You can still get the exhaust. Just change the tips. It'll just cost a bit more, that's all.
