I guess I can always get out and push the car, or take my horse and carriage instead.

I still dont know if its the clutch or I'm just imagining things. I honestly didn't beat on the car.. I definitely rode the clutch a little bit when I was learning but never thought a clutch can go out this fast though..

Sorry I don't have any info on the ROM ID, I know the FRS update came out a couple of months ago so I just went to Subaru and asked for it (about 2 weeks ago now). And yes its for a 2013

Definitely a more stable idle, especially when backing out of my very narrow garage I use almost no throttle and it used to dip and bounce sometimes as I engaged and disengaged the clutch. Now is very solid and predictable, that's what I thought the OP was getting at..

We need clarity here.

Are you saying, then, that you FULLY ENGAGED the clutch with the car in 5th gear, the handbrake firmly applied ... and the engine did NOT stall?

The car's in gear, your foot is COMPLETELY OFF THE CLUTCH PEDAL, the car's NOT moving, and the engine's still running?

Between these posts and our private PM exchange, I'm confused, my friend.

Help us out, here.
