Thanks guys. This project is far from dead. I just got really busy and short on funds.
I went to a local water jet shop this morning. We'll see how that pans out. The original material was 0.05" 5052, but they actually have 0.063" 6063. Can I get an opinion or two on it?

Very interested to see how yours turns out, especially since you have some CAD files already as that'd save me from having to make my own for the Laser/Waterjet, if you wouldn't mind sharing your base files? |

I like it! I want the Driveway labs diffuser but it's just racecar for my DD. This one is much more discreet.

Either of those sizes are fine, just make it uniform through the piece.
