Anyone elses clutch like this?
I'm 700 miles in, and when I hold the clutch at the engagement point at a flat area it BARELY moves like <1mph and the rpms drops and goes up repeatedly (fluctuates). I feel that when I fiest got the car it would go a little bit faster and the rpms didnt use to do that when I first took delivery.
Is there something wrong with the car? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What I mean is that when I first got the car and slowly slip the clutch, the rpms would drop smoothly and the car would start rolling, now when I do the same the rpms will fall and start bouncing and the car barely moves at all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've had a funny start once where I clutched halfway out and then back in, the engine rpm's took a dip and almost stalled and came back up again. Is this what you mean?

I really don't understand what you're experiencing ..... but, I would speculate that happening because your clutch is getting broke in. i.e. smoothed out/a bit glazed (an OK thing).

Park your car with the engine running. Firmly apply the handbrake. De-clutch. Engage 5th gear. Very s-l-o-w-l-y engage the clutch. Can you engage the clutch fully without the engine stalling? If so, your clutch is badly worn and requires replacement. If the engine stalls immediately, then your clutch still has sufficient bite. Who knows for how long? You may have a bit of oil, or something, on your clutch disc, or the disc may be glazed. Try "burning it off" by doing a couple of aggressive launches, a.k.a. drag racing starts. Good luck.

Are you like using the clutch pedal and not using the accelerator at all? If so...there is no reason to ever do that.

Give it some damn gas and stop trying to creep around with the clutch only.

Your clutch probably has more glaze than Krispy Kreme.
