Manzo Catback
So i took a chance and ordered a Manzo cutback exhaust for my FRS.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Manzo-Dual-S...fd964b&vxp=mtr I figured for the price, it would be hard to go worn and there are always people who would buy it off of me locally if i didn't like it I installed it today and so far I am very happy with the fit and finish. The welds looked pretty good, the tips are aligned properly, and it looks great on the car. ![]() ![]() ![]() The only issue I have at the moment is that the slip fitting attaching the muffler to the rest of the system has a big exhaust leak. I installed the cutback this morning and did a rush job since I had to move my bikes out of my garage to put it on jackstands and it started raining halfway through the install and I rushed to finish to get my bikes back inside. I am confident that when I mess with it tomorrow it will be able to get it to seal up properly. If not I am sure a few dollars at a local shop would correct it no problem. As far as sound, it is pretty quit. It is hardly a difference com stock, but I have noticed it starting to open up a little after a 45 mile drive today. Now I am looking forward to getting UEL header for that sound! I will post a video once I correct the leak. |

Please do post sound. There are a few people running Manzo products and they're quite happy. To me, they're just pieces of steel that make sounds so I really dgaf.

OP said that there wasn't much of a difference from stock, so don't get your hopes up for some killer sound.

I have a bit of an exhaust leak where the muffler has a slip fitting attaching it to the rest of the piping. The clamp provided does not sufficiently apply enough force to seal it up. Once I find a solution I will post a video. I used some muffler sealer to seal up a good bit of it, but it still isn't fully sealed yet. I'll probably just pay an exhaust shop a few dollars to just weld it up. It shouldn't be a big deal. |

I too took a chance on the Manzo and am quite happy with it. As has been said, the build quality is very good (much better than stock). And it weighs quite a bit less than stock. I had no problem with fitment at all. It bolted right up. And the sound really isn't any louder than stock. It just has a much deeper tone. Now if only my open flash header would arrive....
