Hello guys.
My name is Ray I've been a fan of the car world, but living from a poor family back in SoCal I couldnt afford any car. I used to drive my dad's old 92 corolla, thats how I learned how to drive stick. Now that I'm in the military I bought my first car. A 2014 FRS M/T Raven, i would love some lessons cus I wanna learn as much as possible about my car. I figured in order to learn something I will need help from the veterans of this page. |

Hey ...... zkatkin ...... .... another new member from the beautiful state of Florida!Yes, Bonita Springs ..... a nice area. When I was a young whipper snapper, I remember visiting my relatives who had a beach house on Sanibel Island. Yep, had to take the ferry .... before they built the bridges. I also remember an "adventure" where I took the mail boat to some of the other islands ..... gad it was slow ... and nothing on those little islands except a few people and mosquitoes! Sorry ...... I digressed .... again .... ![]() Yes, a lot to learn about these cars ..... or you can just lean back and drive and enjoy it ...... just have the oil & filter changed about every 7,500 miles. humfrz |

Bought my New '14 Asphalt FR-S Monogram New to Forum
Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to say hi to everyone! Glad to be here and learn more about my amazing car. I'm planning to get an exhaust, rims, and Five:AD body kit to start. Here I am picking up my car at the dealership. You can just make out my '07 BMW 550i in the background that I just traded in. |

Hey all!
I just purchased an Argento Monogram on Saturday after test-driving both the manual and auto. This is my first manumatic sporty ride, ever. I'm slightly nervous I'll miss the pure manual but the paddle shifting is pretty tight. The only bad news is my baby is still in transit and should arrive to the dealer some time this week. I'm itching to get my hands on the wheel!!!! FYI for anyone in the SoCal area, Northridge has one in stock. Already asked the dealer to put the Pilot Sports on when it arrives. I'm looking to tint the windows so people leave me alone while I drive (Sorry guys, but you're notorious for pestering a girl in a sports car). Any suggestions on the darkest, most legal tint % in CA? I don't need LAPD riding my case, yet I want to drive incognito. Any other lady FR-S owners out there? Having been on prior boards for other sports cars I've owned, I'm looking forward to your advice! PS-I think 6,000-8,000 in the last four of the VIN may be the numbering of the Monogram. If this is the case I'm #853 (i.e. 6,853). If anyone has learned more about the numbering, let me know. I'll ask the dealer when I pick mine up. |

Hi ! Welcome !! I'm also in LA. For tint...you legally cannot tint your two front windows in California...AT ALL. For the back, there is no limit. ![]() Obviously that hasn't stopped me
