I am supposed to receive shipment next week, per @Robert@vishnu .. Thursday should be a safe bet. But it's hard to say for sure

if you have the tool to compress springs (from autozone, like $20) it isn't that bad afaik. They may even have one at DIY texas and may be willing to help out. I could help but my knowledge of suspension systems is limited.
I would totally be willing to help, I wouldn't necessarily know exactly what I was doing but I think between us all we could do it and all learn a lot about suspension AND more specifically the suspension in our cars.

I just found this ongoing thread after PM'ing Trevor. I would love to meet up with some more FR-S/BRZ owners and talk shop. I live in Pflugerville but work in Round Rock. Where do you guys meet on Thursday's?

I've done all I have planned for the moment.
I may come by to observe/learn/help.

For those of us who haven't been to DIY Texas before, what is the address/best way to get there from south Austin?

Unfortunately for y'all across the river its way North Austin or possibly Pfluggerville.

16501 Bratton Ln, suite c, 78728

The easiest way from South Austin is one of two and half ways

1) Come up I-35 exit Louis Henna / hwy 45 and do a u turn on the 35 access road. Bratton lane forks off of the south bound access road pretty quickly and DIY Texas will be on your left very shortly.

2) Come up MoPac and take the exit after Parmer Ln to avoid toll roads and stay on 1325 (Burnet Rd) until Merrilltown Dr, take a right. Take a left on Bratton Ln, you will stay on Bratton Ln through a series of two 90 degree turns, the first is left and the second is right, and eventually DIY Texas will be on your right. Alternatively (#2.5) you can stay on MoPac as it turns into the toll road and take 45 east and exit for I-35 south and turn right onto the southbound access road and fork right onto Bratton Ln.

Do you already have ( or have coming ) an OFT ? I'm really keen to see what the OFH sounds like.

I wish I could attend on Thursday ( nothing to do on the car, but could hang out at least ) but I'll be in San Antonio all week.

So, Georgetown did not have all of the crush washers in stock and are ordering them. They expect to have them in stock on Wednesday (fingers crossed). I just now thought that maybe I should have checked to see if Austin Subaru had them, but oh well! I should be good to go for Thursday! When I get my receipt I will post part numbers so y'all will know what you need.

I was going to try to arrange for Thursday 5p - close. Probably 1-2 lifts.

Called DIY Texas and left a voicemail, I am hoping they call back sooner rather than later!

Edit: Do any of y'all think we would have any use for a flat bay (with jacks and jack stands) in addition to a lift or two?

I just got off the phone with DIY Texas, we have 2 lifts reserved - one drive on 4 post lift and one 2 post lift (they only have one drive on 4 post lift) from 5pm - 9pm (close) on Thursday 2/27. It will be $40 / hour, we can reserve the 3rd lift if we want, but that will increase the charge to $60 / hour. Based off what I see what we are doing to our cars, I do not foresee necessarily needing the 3rd lift.

Edit: they have the tools to compress the springs so no problem there!

I more than likely will not be there at 5pm. Work is too important . Either way though I will try and stop by and see if I can squeeze my car on a lift to take the coilovers off.. Even so, I do not know if 3 hours is enough time.

Hmm that is kind of disappointing. Would hope they have more lift bays but I should be there if that is when DTS wants to go since im snagging his BC's. I have so much crap to install at this point (just ordered more stuff along with a replacement wheel), it isn't even funny.

Also, I didnt end up going to dallas this weekend so I was going to tell you I could do it sooner lol
