Alpine speakers are known for its clarity and these did not disappoint. When installing I did one full side speaker swap compared to the other and when cranked up the clarity still remains. Where on the stock speakers were crackling. The dynamat is a must if you don't mind the extra 25-30 lbs added to the car at the end. The car feels more sturdy and grounded and I hardly hear my 3" Perrin Catback Exhaust. The drone and road noise where noticeably reduced.

As far as the Head Unit, I'm still using the factory HU but I'm sure I'm going to have rewire once I receive my pioneer HU.

I went with Alpine throughout.. 4" SPS-410: for dash http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/sps-410 - slight mod needed to fit this into the dash (trim plastic & drill new screw hole.) 6 1/2" SPR-60C: for doors and back http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/spr-60c - i need to creating housing for both these positions using particle board for doors & hardwood for rear.

http://http://www.subaruaudio.net/su...nd-scion-fr-s/ As for the dash 4" Alpines. The fitment fits well with enough depth. Just not you will have to move it around a bit to sit well. I had to shave about an 1/8" of plastic off in the dash and drill a new hole into the plastic. Other than that they fit well.

Ordered 8qts of 0w-20 AMSoil signature (I do know it only takes 5.75qts but I keep a couple in the trunk), AMS EA15K20 filter, Fumoto valve. AMS states that I can let it run in there for 15k miles (for the oil and filter)...it is hard enough to wait 7k for the first oil change...probably change it after 10k.
I just got my BRZ back from the body shop yesterday on my way to work. The body shop installed my sidemarkers but didn't install the grimmspeed bracket for whatever reason...but like hell I was going to drive around in a boat that is the Chevy Malibu. Once it stops raining I will screw it in myself. ![]() ![]() ![]() In the interest in extending the healthy life of my motor should I purchase a catch can? It seems they are more gear towards people who track their cars regularly but I am interested in it to keep the gunk out of my engine (since all my Volvos lived to high mileage but drove like crap I want my BRZ to age more gracefully). Worth the cost? Also, to get rid of the rough 1+2nd shifts. I have read on here that changing the trans fluid fixes that correct? If you changed it, what have you used? Sorry for the long post
