Compared to other stock times posted by Motortrend and others, your trap speed is on the lower end. Some people get as high as 95-96 mph, which is significantly higher. Other factors may be at work, like crappy weather, or possibly you just ran on a slower track. I would ask other people who run on that track how their stock times compare with other folks' stock times on different tracks. But I imagine you can expect at least a 4-5 mph bump with a tune, header, and e85.

EDIT: I think @JuniorAWD ran a sub-2 second 60' using launch control on stock tires. So there may be more room for improvement than you think.

Wow broke into the 13s with 198whp that's amazing at stock weight... i've always thought at 2946lbs (car + 160lb driver) you would need at least 230hp to break into the hight 13.9.., anywho, congrats though.

What have you ran?
Nothing yet, Feels odd going to the strip in such a slow car. Ran my R/T and CRX with a b18a1 plenty of times. The straight line speed in this car stock isn't so good.

Tires or not I was just saying the bump from e85 isn't going to be that large. Dropping your 60' will net you better times. How was reaction times that night?

I remember a few AP1 S2000's hitting 13.9 stock. They weighed about 2800 lbs and put down anywhere between 195-205 whp. Power-to-weight should be very similar to OP. Also OP was on 555r's, which helps.

Reaction times don't matter its test n tune the clock doesn't start until you move. I just go on green rather not red light. Have you been in a frs/brz with e85? It makes a hell of a difference. 30+ more hp on a stock car don't you see the stock car + e85 = 200 whp threads in the tuning forums?

Those are professional drivers which I'm sure they did dozens of runs The weather was crappy about 75-80 degrees, humid, but near sea level i'm in FL. The track was prepped pretty good though. I don't know why the low traps could because the car only had 1500 miles? Tight engine still? I'm probably going back tomorrow night I'll post up. I expect a big difference as the call feels considerably faster like it has a V6 Will see.

I also have launch control now.

They are professional drivers, but I wouldn't think that would change the trap speed that much. I'm not sure why, but I know that some drag strips are notoriously slower than others. Maybe a slight grade or incline to the surface. Any other frss our brzs run there?

Yea, I'm just saying they have people with Innovate kits still running low 14's. It's got a lot to do with the launch. I'm not saying it can't happen with 200whp. I was simply saying I don't see u getting 13s with 2.2 60's with e85 and 200whp. Who knows? I hope you prove me wrong.

No I didn't actually. I was doing about as well I think is possible on stock tires. My best 60' was around 2.17. I just call it 2.2.

Anyways just got back from the track tonight. Ran 14.6@96 with high 2.2-2.3 60'. Stock tires suck to say the least. Lol. Significant improvement though from 15.2@91 without the OFT.

Think I'm gonna junk yard some steelies and put on drag radials.
