Glad i got the 14 premium. Would have liked the keyless entry and the dual zone a/c but don't miss it. Also the heated seats and heated mirrors don't do much in the summer when I"ll be driving the car more. The HID's on the premium make it worth it not having the fogs.
I also couldn't justify the 2k price difference.... |

Oh, the heated seats are only for Limited? Damn I made the right choice. I live in Socal but that thing is on ALL THE TIME. LOL
And I noticed that the heated seats are a must for people who track the car. I honestly couldn't have done a single lap at the track in the morning if I didn't have the heated seat. 30 degrees out with windows down blasting through the corner isn't a great idea. I never use the dual A/C though. I always had it on all my previous cars but never used it. Just like the design of the center console with it. That's the only reason. |

![]() BTW, I love the keyless entry/start on my Limited. It might not seem like a big deal until you have it, but not having to fumble for your keys when you have your hands full or have gloves on or something is awesome. -Z |

Lol... I got my limited with 12000 miles on it for 23k...
I personally like the added effect of the spoiler, I think it looks naked without it. And the HIDs, keyless touch entry, and heated seats do it for me. It's just so nice to be able to walk up to the car and get in/ open the trunk.

Limited all the way! I find the Alcantara to be fantastic. Gives me excellent grip in the seat during fun manuevers, no sliding at all and it feels great to the touch. (Maserati's all have at least some Alcantara as it is a weight saver over leather) Love Keyless entry and push button start. Now that I have had two cars with Keyless entry, I "hate" keys and the little buttons on the fob, and cannot imagine buying another new car without it.
As for the fog lamps, just buy some LED bulbs from Diode for $30.00 and they really illuminate much better and almost match the HID lamps in brightness. I have not owned a car without fog lamps in years. They help illuminate the stripes and shoulders on the road for better night vision, especially at speed. The spoiler looks ok to me, and I really like it even better now with the STI Gurney flap on it. The flap is a nice touch and one that actually "does" something aerodynamics wise (which the spoiler by itself does little to affect driving at any speed). So for the cost difference I would always go for the limited, unless it affected by ability to buy the car. In that case the Premium is a good option for many people. Now that I have owned the car for 17 months, I even have grown used to the head unit, and when I get back in a loaner car that has no navi or touch screen, I feel like I am going backwards. (I agree that it is not great, but once you have learned how to use it over time, it is really is not so utterly horrible) Just my two cents worth.......... |

The only thing I want from the limited are foglights. The seats are nice but I wouldn't pay more for it. I dont regret getting a premium.

I don't regret getting a premium, but heated seats would be nice. Alcantara would also be nice, but I dislike the pusbutton start, pointless dual zone climate control, and leather. Not worth the extra cost to me.

Wish I had dual zone climate, sooooooo bad! I regret not getting all options, even if that ment I had to get a BRZ instead. My wife, aka "I'm freezing can we turn the heat on" is always cold. I'm, you guessed it, usually warm.
I'm sure all the other added features are great too. |

I think it just really depends on the deal that you can get. My 13 BRZ Premium has fog lights and the spoiler. If I wanted a limited I would have to jump up to 14 limited and that would have been a extra $2500. Now if jumping to a limited would have only been $1500 I might have really considered it.
I believe all BRZs come with HIDs. |

I took limited because of the heated seats. Its so cold here in winter, and heated seats give heat way before the hot air fan so... but the keyless entry is fun too!
Since i was getting a 2013 model, I even paid less than a premium model ( yes i know i would have paid even less for a premium 2013, don't burst my bubble ).Personally, I could do without the spoiler tough. |
