And on a sad note. My baby took her first hit today. Minor damage to the rear bumper cover... most should buff out... but still....
Sorry to heard about that. Someone bumper parked my rear for my first... i didn't noice the others.

I may need to come to you for some tires. What firestone do you work at? Shoot me a pm.

Not to re-state the obvious, but if any of you guys are traveling tonight in the Chicagoland area (and especially if you're in a FR-S/BRZ), please be careful. It took me 2 hours to get from Northbrook to Roselle, the conditions are simply atrocious even on a new set of winter tires. Lots of SUV tailgating activity going on too

Anyone in Chicago know if Grossinger is less incompetent vs. Northside Toyota? Got an electrical issue with my car and cannot stand how lousy the service is at Northside.

I am of the mind when driving the FR-S when it snows that it is a Track Day for SUVs/Trucks and I have to be super on point to maintain my own safety.

The primary thing that has been happening to me this entire winter is the SUVs/Trucks/4wheeldrive vehicles just simply not caring if I am next to them or wherever I am when they are driving. I have had numerous close calls with them randomly switching lanes (i.e. when I am next to them) or just ignoring my presence altogether.

(I also think I have stated this before somewhere earlier on in the winter but because my memory isn't so great, here I state it again).

I have family in Iowa City, Iowa. I take all of my Toyotas/Scions to Toyota of Iowa City for servicing. They are generally excellent.

I work all day, but you're welcome to come to my place after. I'm out in westchester and get off around 8:30-9ish.

Thanks! However, my buddy told me that military gets 20% off tools at sears so I just went and picked up a jack. I'll post some pictures once I get done though!

I drove my car today for the first time in 3 weeks. It's like I fell in love with the car again!

It was a short drive to the UPS store, but it was great. In the meantime, someone took my spot where I parked. Seriously. It was an amazing spot where no one could park in front or behind me...I miss it already.

Also, I found my first scratch today. It was on the roof...nothing serious. I bet one of my friends scratched the roof with their ring when hopping in. It sure beats getting a door ding after the 3rd day of ownership like on my old WRX. That pissed me off, especially because it was in my old office's parking lot...and not that many people work there.

Hoping the snow stays away for the rest of this winter so I can drive this car without fear of getting stuck in it!!

Must be nice to have the option not to drive it... drove mine every day this winter...
