i beat my boys si by a little with my stock brz and he has intake, racing clutch, exhaust.
then i got an intake on the brz and beat him by a lot then i added an exhaust and pulleys and light weight rims along with the intake. looks like hes in reverse. now i have full bolt-ons headers tune and its a joke, i can be at low rpm and pull on him haha get the twin. -its a pinch faster -handles wayyyyyy better. -and it doesnt look like your grandmas car. |

If I were to buy a civic, I would buy an 8th gen circa 2008. I loved that car. Solid interior with fun factor. Still, does not compare with the BRZ limited.

My bro-in-law owns a white civic like this in manual. Fun car. Love the Vtec. Wished the engine in the FRS was to this caliber though
![]() I love Honda motors! ![]() Here is my opinion on this subject. If you need the space, get the Civic. In fact, Eff the civic, get a Focus ST or a MS3! Those will smoke the Civics and the 86twins all day. It's my favorite people hauler and grocery getter. Check this ST [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EpqKuiswOw"]Ford Focus ST on the FSWerks dyno ( 100% stock ) - YouTube[/ame] But if you want a "sports car" and not a "sporty car" in the $25k segment, well... take a guess. The FRS wins entirely when going for incredible potential performance. Those front wheel drivers were designed for cargo, hauling people, getting groceries, and utility. Great if that's what you need. Cool that you have a bunch of power too. Sports car? Nah. The 86twins were built to Porsche Cayman handling standards. Tell me where you can get world class handling dynamics in the $25k segment? Sure, it's down on power. I can live with that. There are always options if I need more. It is the platform I'm buying into. Bargain deal if you ask me! Yes those FWD larger hot hatches are faster outta the gate, but their platform is severely limited due to what their soul designs were intended for. For me, it was a no-brainer decision to go for the Scion FRS.
