I have my own body shop. I have just about every tape/adhesive you could imagine lol. You just can't hold the pressure required with the small area available. At least on mine that is.

We'll that kind of sucks, having to drill into the bumper is a bit of a deal breaker. Would it be possible to attach a thin plate with studs on it to the back, and them tape that to the bumper maybe? Just a random thought.

You can drill two holes about 2" under the factory points and it will screw into your grille. That way the bumper is untouched. If you ever take it off just replace the center grille and be good to go

Wait I thought the OEM one screw into the grille? I already have two holes from my license plate, could i possible just screw through that for the mounting point on the lip?

The holes on the trd lip want you to screw into the bumper. I believe they would be the same holes as if you already had an OEM front plate bracket installed prior. If you have no holes in your bumper and don't want to drill any, you can go lower and drill into the center grille. The grille mounting works, but going into the bumper made for much tighter fitment

Thanks for the info! Just debating on getting it and shaving it down a bit for the foglights to fit proper.

The ABS material is very easy to sand down while test fitting

Thx for the pictures. Looks like I've shaved to what you have there right now. And yea you can't mount it without screws. I had the same problem, tried taping but it won't close up tightly. I guess I have no choice but to screw it now lol. Btw was weather strip used at the bottom of the foglight bezels?

And I guess the only problem with mine is my car is white so all the imperfections shows up instantly like you see at the bottom of the lower grille it doesn't cover up fully. Do you have that problem?

80 grit by hand will sand down the edges nicely. Then finish off with 180. Do not use either of those grits on the main surface though. Only to shave the edges down

Mine covered completely up to the oem grille/bezel. With the apr ducts one side is basically perfect, one side has maybe a 1-2mm gap. It's not enough for anyone to see once on the car since my color is dark anyway. Put a line of black vinyl or electrical tape below the bezel before installing the lip. Nobody will be able to notice a small gap since the white won't be showing
