Springs, Sway bars, Strut bar, what's next???
What is the next modif after this?
I want a go kart ![]() Do you think a rear strut bar is a good idea? But I don't want to have a bar in the trunk who make storage interference... Sometime i fit my mountain bike in the trunk...

Already rack and pinion bushing
it's a good start.Am not ready for bushings yet... Too expensive for a minimal difference, correct me if am wrong.

You'll get more difference replacing bushings than you will from strut tower bars (especially the rear since that doesn't effect the suspension geometry).
Beyond "a go kart", what are you trying to achieve? What tires are you running? Do you want street grip or track grip? What alignment specs are you running? What springs and sways?

Springs, Sway bars, Strut bar, what's next???
Quote:
Mach V springs Whiteline rack and pinion bushing Whiteline rear 16mm sway bar with link and braces... Middle position Whiteline front strut bar Hotchkis front 25.4 mm sway bar soft position. The alignment is near to 0. I don't have any camber adjustment stuff yet. I will buy a new set of tires this summer, I do not kill the OEM tires yet. I want street tires more then track tires.

not on this car but i've had on other cars, most notiably the impreza.
if you're looking for that go-kart feel, then those 4 areas are a must. esp the rear crossmember mount, that has a lot of play. You can start by getting the whiteline inserts for that and work your way up. i'm holding off because i want to play in autocross c-stock class, but once i'm ready for STX those will be my first mods.

Ok then I will check to place an order for the rear cross member bushing soon. It's just more difficult from my country to get a good deal because it's always a big shipping cost unfortunately...

You can get more extreme values with some eccentric bolts and/or top mounts. |

Rear strut mount is a waste.
A better alignment, bushings, and shocks are your next steps. - Andy |
