some clear coat and wet sanding would make the tails looking much better.

Oh hey, I just noticed this.

The tails actually have a clear and I wet sanded them as I did the process, the last photo there the car is covered in dirt from a long rain and then driving on some dirty back roads, reference below for how they actually look (when clean....)

I do have much better photos of the tails but at least this shows you that they are clear, reflective and look nice) not all hazzy and crap like in that photo in my last post.

I now know how you felt. I am waiting for mine now. It was being shipped, is in Canada and is cleared, waiting for delivery to the dealer. The anticipation is killing me.

Updated the first page because it badly needed some new info. Take look (it's not in a book) and let me know what you think!

Are you installing the turbo yourself or have a shop doing it?

Awesome! I'd love to slap a turbo on mine as well but I have no experience with the install or tuning

Can't wait to see how it turns out for you!

The install itself should be very easy (at least with a kit like the AVO kit, others require more expertise) and the tuning is basically plug it into computer and run tune file. Almost everyone says it can be done by "you and a buddy" and a day or two.

As someone who just finished the same install, "easy" is a relative term lol. It's not technically challenging, but it's a lot of work.

Before you start the install, invest some cash into proper t-bolt clamps for the charge pipes and fuel injector style mini clamps for the coolant hoses

Yep! I will have access to those styles of clamps when I get around to it I saw easy because I was raised by a mechanic and my friend who is helping me install it is also a mechanic - had a great 600 whp WRX back in the day

We're these rebuilds you found and refinished or came that way?, all around BBK?

So jelly man I'd love me some BBK even though there is no actually need but soooo much want.

Hahha exactly, there really is no need but it was an issue of want . Sure, I am adding 100 some hp; but really, I could have just gotten better pads, rotors OR tires and ended up just as well haha.

Ah well, these are sweet and will look great upfront (certainly no reason to do the rears). These are rebuilds that are refinished, DBA rotors and Hawk pads. Should do ok in our very very short spring and summer
