Scion All Weather Mats worth it? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I ordered the all weather mats for my Monogram, but was wondering if anyone has actually seen them to know if they are worth the money ($89 I think).

Or would it be better to order WeatherTech mats? I read the thread on the WT mats and everyone seems happy with them, just curious how they compare to then Scion ones.

I bought them for about $65 bucks off of E bay. I live here in Florida in the Ocala National Forest and it is basically sand. I live a half mile off the main road on a dirt road. The stock carpet mats were wearing pretty quickly so I decided to buy the all weather mats. I have been very pleased with them. The stock twist locks are the same as the carpet mats and they do not move around. I am able to vacuum the mats quickly when they get sandy which is most every day. If I want to dress up the car I slip in the carpet ones but the rubber ones look good too with the FRS logo. For me at least, they are worth it.

On topic: I have the weathertech trunk liner and can totally recommend it. The weathertech floor mats are the full liner variety that could hold a bucket of slush. Overkill and unattractive in my opinion. When my carpeted floor mats wear out, I'll go with the OEM all weather mats.

I got them free from my dealer. I like them, but they don't hold a large amount of water. My carpet mats are on a shelf in my garage and still look newish, and the carpet in my car under the all weather mats still looks brand new. They are great in the rain, a big snow would probably over fill them, but I'm in southern alabama, don't have to worry about snow too much here. Every body is going to tell you weather techs are better, and they are right. but, they are double the cost, and no rear rubber mats. You'll get front and rear with the scion ones.

These are great for anything but very large quantities of water/ice/slush.

I bought the Husky's. They fit perfectly (with the exception that they cover the gas cover release - but that can be worked around or trimmed). They've done a great job at protecting my carpet and were cheaper than the Weathertechs. But I know those are great as well.

I have the OEM all weather mats. Fits snug and looks great. Love them. But I agree, the mats does not keep large amts of water

Weathertechs are perfect. I have them. I like to run at parks in the mornings, any whatever conditions. So now I don't have to worry about getting mud, or dog poop

Does the FR-S logo come off? I have been trying to figure out from pictures if it's molded into the rubber or is just attached on top of it.

I've got a BRZ and it doesn't seem like Subaru offers OEM all weather floormats so the FR-S ones are the only option, but I'd want to remove the letters.

Buy the Scion ones.

The Weather tech Digifit are good for extreme snow, but slippery IMO and have a texture I dont like. I bought the WT for my wifes car and will take them out in spring for certain. They dont rinse off well either. Inflexible and stiff. Yes they will hold a good bit of water, coffee etc. This has been my experience this winter.
I dont like my feet slipping on the WT.

The rubber Scion ones are better for all season.
