A PRE Stepped diameter 4 to 1 double slip collector Header

[/LIST]
Stock baseline Dyno was 173WHP.

For Those who were interested.

We picked up a little power top end with the tune alone which is typical but you can see that with the equal length header it opens up the power band not only up top but lower in the rev range as well. OE intake, muffler, resonator.

Temperature was about 57F in the dyno room, 29.66inHg, 90-100% humidity.

Instead of having a flex joint like the borla's have they made a slip joint and use the springs to keep the pipes together. I know snowmobiles and other 2-strokes use the same setup, first time seeing it on a car though.

Agreed. If there's still an identical torque dip, just with higher numbers, then either the tune is inadequate or the headers have the same problem that the OEM ones do.

I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83

i struggled with exhaust tips for many MANY days.

but ended up not going with DC sport or other aftermarket tips, because of quality issue.

that specific model tend to rust at the connecting part, you can do some search to find people having problem with it.

I've looked into other brands, checking out every local auto parts shops.

most of them are too long... this doesn't work because if you try to push in to make it look good, the tip won't be installed straight because of OEM exhaust pipe is too short and you hit the curb/turn as soon as you start pushing in

I pretty much made up my mind that quality and fit takes money.
If I didn't get such a good deal on JDM tips, I probably saved up few hundreds to get a used axel back.

if you have any more questions about exhaust tips, msg on fb. you know who i am. lol

do you have any tips?
I feel like I can do this myself, but I've never done anything like this before.

I was nervous, myself. It was the first time I had spray painted anything. Hahaha. But some tips from me would be:
-PATIENCE!
-Light coats, dont try to make it perfect on the first coat, nor the second. I did 6 coats of red and 4 coats of lacquer.
-if you have the space, do it inside! The more steryl the better. I had to do mine outside and got some tiny dirt particals caught in the layers. And the spray seemed to act like a gnat attraction.
-do the awkward side angles first, then do long smooth sprays along the long axis of the lights, overlaping of coarse
-and again, patience patience PATIENCE!

That's all I can think of really, good luck and enjoy your new look!

Installed a set of RKs. I need to swap the tires for winter tires instead of all seasons though.
