Now they're publishing the security camera footage.

Geez, does there really need to be so much hate for Vettes?

They're pretty much one of the only cars that comes out of the US thats actually respected in most parts of the world.

That sucks. It's been many years since I've been to that museum.

The ones bashing them likely never owned one, jealous cause they can't afford one or prejudiced about American cars.. Or always getting passed by one.. Ignorance at work here..
I've owned 4 of them over the last 15 years.. Enjoyed them all ! Every one of them held their value and in the end were trouble free and very inexpensive to own! My biggest complaint was having all that power and capability and no place to really enjoy it.. That and those big ass tires get expensive..
I miss the torque..! My 06 Z06 hit 60 mph in 1st gear... Talk about your E ticket ride.. My FRS is not near as fast.. But I enjoy beating on it as you can wrap it out and still keep it within the speed limit.. Something I couldn't really do in the vettes..

I ordered my last vette and did the museum delievery factory pickup in 08.
Great experience having a personal tour thru the factory and having your car behind the ropes in the museum ready for pickup.. The workers signed their names on the underbody and other inconspicuous places.. Was pretty cool actually.. I had to pay an extra 500 dollars for the museum delievery.. And they still charged me the standard delievery charge even though the factory is across the street.. But it was an awesome experience and worth the cost..

At least they didn't lose any Stingrays or a '53 Vette. 2 ZR1s though...that sucks.

First two vettes are out, the 2009 ZR1 and the special edition wine-colored one. ZR1 started and drove itself out of the dome, second one looks significantly more banged up. Here are the links to the live streaming video:

Damn, the 2009 ZR1 was number 1.5 million off the assembly line.

When I visited the museum, someone was getting the delivery there.

I went on the factory tour and was the chosen one to be the first person to start the next Corvette on the assembly line. I got an awesome car too, and boy oh boy, were there some unhappy people in my tour group that wanted to push that button. It was fun
