Or in my case today, watch way too much netflix, try to get into the titanfall beta, and keep researching mods. Should be working on brushing up new skills for work, am I? NOPE.

So at DIY Texas, can you just show up and if a spot is available just pull in or do you have to reserve in advance?

Better to reserve in advance so you don't waste a trip there. Reserve it on their site then show up 15 min early.

Good to know, thanks!

@psk, I'll let you know when I receive my shipment of oil and have set up a time slot at DIY Texas. Maybe they'll let us use the same reservation for both cars (one at a time most likely) and we could split the cost of the garage fee?

@psk, also do you have the crush washers for the fill and drain plugs for both the trans and the rear diff? (4 crush washers total) If not, I'm going to be by the dealer on Thursday and plan on purchasing those while I am there and can get you part #'s and pricing (Subaru of Georgetown).

I'm planning on probably Saturday morning, but I am still awaiting delivery info on my oil. Obviously no oil = no oil change.

That would be awesome! I will do some research on installing the struts... hopefully get some pictures or gather a video before we go. I just hope the mod bug doesn't hit me on the launch.. as well.. I would like to keep it stock >_>.

I have instructions for our oil swap printed and ready to go. Just need to confirm a couple things with diy Texas, get the oil, and get the crush washers.

@Turkish

ack! i actually don't have my transmission oil with me. i thought i had brought it from home in houston, but i didn't i could purchase the diff oil here in austin, but i do not want to purchase the trans oil again, since it costs about $40-45.

i guess i won't be able to join you because i can't do both at once anymore. however, i would like to know how much the washers would be, because i will be needing to get those for myself anyway.
