I usually take home my work Jeep but I decided to ditch the snow storm in ny and visit some friends in buffalo...made it fine but when I got here I pulled into a friends driveway with flattened snow and slid right onto the untouched powder. Now my car probably won't be moving for a few days...anyone in buffalo wanna help give me a push??? :/

Studded Snow Tires and 200 lbs of rock salt and kitty litter in the boot. I see 4x4 trucks spin out more than I do.

They don't plow most of our streets, so its like driving on sheet ice for weeks at a time.

In the warm garage on a battery tender until the roads are clean. I just prefer the beating to occur to my beater.

The OEM Michelin's are awful in anything but optimal conditions.
I have the same Continentals on my tC and they are a million times better than the OEM Yokohamas! Night and day improvement in rainy weather. I wasn't sure about Continental but the reviews were good and Mercedes uses them as OEM -how bad could the be?

Haven't moved it in 2weeks such a pathetic car in the snow granted stock tires, don't want to injure myself or others so it stays home

Winter tires and disable all of the nannies. As long as you don't have more snow than the ground clearance, have fun drifting in the snow. More fun than you can imagine.

I take my TT if it's more than a few inches or if it's too much work to dig the BRZ out

I put snow tires on old 16" WRX wheels and the car is fantastic in the snow. However the car is very very dicey on ice.
