Totally stoked! Building will be done this weekend. I've been waiting 4 months for this moment to get my car back on the road since my engine blew. Lot's of information and pictures to come in the near future, both the blown engine and the new build. Thanks guys!

That will be determined tomorrow when I talk with the Subaru technician. I called today and I will be picking up my old torn down engine tomorrow afternoon. I had them take pictures of the teardown and hopefully write up an analysis of the problems.

Everything is so debateable. The base kit does not include an EcuTek cable or license so you will definitely still need a way to tune the car. If you keep it to low boost, you can probably keep the OEM clutch happy for awhile. I would call a set of AFR/boost gauges a mandatory upgrade as well.

Would the OFT cover the AFR + other variables part? Then I can just buy boost gauges? I would be plenty happy for a good year or two just running a modest 5-7 psi (which is considered pretty low right?)

The OFT does allow you to read the OEM first O2 sensor which is a narrow wideband, but I would still invest in a true wideband. I would think that the OFT could also show you boost, but I don't own one, so I don't know.

Happy to report that tuning is almost done, and no heat issues now. Fans are still functioning, temps are good .
