This is also why I'm not a fan of catted headers either. The cat in the front pipe is fine but headers tear them up quicker. Turbo melts them to hell, lol.

Will this help?

"When they will ship: This is the second batch of headers that will go in to production about a week after production ends on the first run. Expected shipping towards the end of March, in to early April."

Backpurging the pipe so the interior of the weld is shielded as well as the exterior.

You posted a dyno showing the output of the header when paired with the stock exhaust. Are the other setups forthcoming? If I get a header with the 2.5" output, is the only adaptation a gasket? Is there nothing to smoother the flow between the 3" header outlet and the 2.5" exhaust?

Finally, a theory question for anyone willing. How much does the exhaust flow cool as it's moving through the exhaust? Enough to make it worth while to run a 3" system back to the axle then transition to a smaller system to keep velocity up and noise down?

When it says current stock 24 what does it mean? Does it mean you have some in stock?

If they have any in stock and all of us from the "header club" pre sale are still waiting on ours to ship.... lets just say... So surely they don't have any in stock.

I called today about various things....

The 24 in Stock is referring to parts I'm pretty sure.

As in the second batch stuff is here but will be built after the first batch is shipped here soon. *you won't have to wait for nameless to order in piping

Hmm I was told I'm in the top 25... Hope I'm not number 25 if they are building 24 this batch.

Have any of the early folks had a status change at all?

Well I bought mine 2-3days ago and I was the last in the first batch of 50.

It was the morning after the FB post about one more spot available.

25 is the amount in the second batch. I am order number 5176 if that helps.

Yeah so batches of 25. You're in the second batch. I guess the one local who ordered his in may has #1 so only 24 of the first batch still being assembled. Makes sense.
