Also, do you have any plastidip leftover i could get from you? or which store did you say i could buy some at? I'm not sure if you said home depot or lowes lol. i ordered the winjet fog lights but i don't really like the glossy look so was thinking of plastidipping them black matte. should be installing them sometime this weekend.

Thanks for the offer Trevor! I will pass though. I am going for a super clean look and the diffusers always look to me like a mouth (or something else) with one too many lips :P

LOL, Trevor - remember how when you were over I said "no more mods for a long time" and my wife said "yeah right".... well damn I can't stop thinking about painting some pieces in the interior like we talked about LOL - that can't be that expensive can it?

*** sigh *** I think I am going to get screwed by the tax man this year. A lesson to everyone: if you are going to move to another country with a job do it right at the end of a calendar year. If you do it mid year you get completely screwed by the tax man in both countries.

We have to "call ahead" which I believe means PM'ing them on Facebook to reserve spots. Oasis is becoming the largest, if not the largest car meet in Texas right now. 1100 cars last meet is insane!!!

I have the same feeling about the rear diffuser, hence why I'm trying to get rid of it lol.

You can't beat the mod bug... as much as you try, you'll always find some kind of justification for a new purchase which pieces are you looking at painting again? paint is cheap if you're confident in yourself as a painter.. and vinyl is cheap too

sorry for the off topic rant... but can I just say how much I hate ticketmaster right now!! I got in right when the tickets for Tool went on sale, got good seats, and then it crashed during checkout and made me start all over - now it looks like it might be sold out. WTF - why did it not keep my tickets in my cart during the crash so long as it was in the time limit?

Edit: it is sold out now....

I was looking at painting the silver piece around the radio and in front of the passenger the beautiful pearl white body color. My wife had to make it worse by looking at it and then saying how amazing it would look and taking it a step further saying we should paint all the silver interior trim except knobs and buttons with the body color.

If it were something just plasti-dipping I would paint myself but I want it to be as beautiful and match the body paint with the depth and sparkle (and clear coat to protect it).

I think my wife is tempting me on purpose to break the spend freeze so then she has an excuse to buy some new boots she is eyeing!

ahh I remember now. and lmao. I think it would look good to do the dash trim pieces, but that would be the extent of it. I dunno about the door handles, ac vents. It might be too much. The interior is so dark, it might clash with white. but definitely the dash panels.

I hate ticket master, a lot of those "sold tickets" are to resellers who do 200-500% markup.

Cool, I will always take help when it is offered! I'll probably be doing this mod after I get my wheels in a month or so. I definitely appreciate getting help when I need it (or at least when I think I need it lol)

@MysteryMachine i did this to the interior today , i was thinking of doing the same color as the exterior , but in the interior there's red stiching on the seats , door panels , so i decided to go with the red , im actually really liking it now

unfortunately i wasnt able to take the trim on the steering wheel off
