a catted header isn't going to increase the volume much if at all...just a heads up

It's funny how subjective these things can be. Like loudness and quality, I find this setup like my porridge, "just right."

If you listen to the FT86 test car, that's hardly an exhaust I would use on the street. Ever. It's louder than my Supra with high flow intake and UEL headers 3" turbo back!

I run the same Perrin/Berk exhaust and front pipe combo, but have the Perrin CAI and overpipe too.

It snarls when it needs to, sounds like a NA flat 4 should but on cruise there's zero drone just a very quiet burble. If you want stealthy, it obliges. If you want it to snarl when giving it some stick, it will oblige.

tl:dr loud does not necessarily mean good

In preparation for my FT86 SpeedFactory UEL headers (catted), I decided to remove the awesome sounding Nameless Axleback to go for something a bit quieter.

Sounds include cold start and idling at around 700 RPM (due to OpenFlash Tablet tune) - then throttle blips to 3k and 5.5/6k. Recorded with GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition, placed within 5 feet of the exhaust.

The current exhaust setup is as follows:
* Perrin Resonated 2.5" Catback Exhaust
* Berk Front Pipe w/ High Flow Cat

Just got an update on my order from Yo. Other buyers should expect an email soon too...
He said that he expects my header to ship by the end of next week.

Getting there, fellas...

Too bad I can't watch youtube videos at work. I'll have to come back for that one because it's close to my plans, but still pretty different. I've had another new idea (I promise this is the last for a while so people don't want to murder me for changing my mind so often). I don't care if it's louder, my main goal is no rasp/drone/rattle. So with that in mind, my new setup would be the catless version of this, Nameless DP/OP combo, resonated but catless. And resonated PERRIN 2.5" exhaust. My mind says yay, but my ears wish they could hear it first.

I have this same setup, its important to note that cold start is waaaaaaay louder than idle with this setup. Idle sounds stock

Glad we are on the same setup - dude, it's hilariously different! Friends have commented on how ridiculously loud my car is when we first start it up, then a moment later the sound will all but completely go away hahah.
