Aside from the traction issues, the bumper was just a snow plow. Huge ruts in the streets earlier, looks much better now

Yeah, the girlfriend almost didn't make it out of the driveway at 5:30. She had to go to ohare, and it took her about an hour and 15.

I also lifted the car 2" for the winter expecting the bad snow.

It took me about 1.5 times as long as usual today at 7am - the car did ok, it's fine as long as I don't have to stop moving in anything over 1/2" - turning (with my right foot mostly) is fine, and braking is decent. It's just the getting moving part that is the issue!

This exactly. No matter how gentle on the throttle, getting moving from a dead stop is the worst part. Stopping/turning etc. are fine once moving, but pulling into intersections you need to give a lot of room so you can pick up speed slowly

Spotted a white BRZ heading inbound I-90/94 right before the Fullerton Exit.

10 mins later, spotted a raven FRS at the Circle.

Lots of melted snow/ice patches, careful out there... saw 3 accidents today, both on the way and coming back from work.

Also 4 people who didn't know that their headlights were OFF and its pretty dark outside, but that's a different story

Im just happy it hasnt snowed in a couple days! But the fucking roads
are so messed up from the extreme cold! Ever since my front lip got blasted off a
couple weeks back its real easy to hear my exhaust hitting pavement
all the time! I work in Gary every day....worst roads in the country im sure!

I drive daily between Palatine and Algonquin.

Lake Cook has buckled to the point that I just can't drive through it anymore. I am on stock suspension and 16" winter tires (which have improved comfort dramatically) but it is just unbearable. The bad news is that my alternative route is getting pretty bad too. I will have to be taking side roads soon.

Hello btw. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I was actually looking into re11a just a few days ago. Do they have anything in a 255 or 265? I need a new set of tires soon.
