Was it backed into a space?
It kind of looks like a pick up truck might have backed into it.

Also check the area to see if there are security cams. Some lots have them, and this could help you find the culprit

I can image your pain. I agree with KelvinBRZ that there may be a camera at your restaurant, and it could have been another car that backed into yours.

Sorry about what happened Can't believe people could be such jerks. My headlight was actually just cracked the other night by someone who threw a rock at my car while I was driving, so I totally feel your pain

This is why I'm planning to get 4 dashcams to look out the front, the back, and both sides. The dashcams are going to have good night vision performance. I'm also going to get multiple SD card extension cords so i can have all the video downloaded to a "black box" of sorts somewhere very safe in the car using a handgun safe. This is so if the crooks see the camera and steal them, I still have the video. Then I'll catch the low lifes if ever something like this happens to my car. Just a thought for everyone else to do the same.

Enemies? What a cowardly act! I'd perhaps invest in a camera and back into spots from now on. Sorry to hear of your misfortune.

Was planning on doing this, but security at my work told me getting cams like that would run me close to 1k per for the ones that are actually meant to play security for parked cars. Plus they also tempt people to break into your car to steal them as well. Luckily i know where the security cams are at work and park near them.

Install one of these front-rear dashcams:

It helped me during my accident (although I have the single camera version).

Did he pay for the damages?
Also, people in vans seem to be hating on cars here. People are just jealous that they have to drive something boring and/or they fucked up their life while you're riding in style.

That sucks, dude. I'd also guess you were backed into, unless there was damage elsewhere on the car that you didn't post a pic of. You'd think if it was vandalism that they'd have done damage to more than one area (you know, do some damage to as many pieces as possible so it's more of a pain in the **** to fix). I'd guess it wasn't vandalism, just some retarded shitlord not paying attention, backing into your car and then running off.

Did you ask about surveillance footage?
