fitting a brz lip onto a frs?

i havnt seen anyone try this yet but id like to know how different are the mounting points. i want to put the sti lip on my frs, but i have no info to work with prior purchasing one.

Are you talking about the trunk lip or the front bumper lip? The front bumpers between the BRZ and FRS are totally different so that definitely doesn't work.

talkn about the front bumper lip.. wonder if any had some comparison pics or sumthing seeing as the splitter doesnt really contour to the shape of the bumper i might be ablr to retro fit it

you would have to modify it some.....the FR-S and BRZ front bumpers are different....

i've been curious about this too as the FR-S PU options are pretty limited. at least the reasonably priced ones.

Yeah I've been looking for a STi style front lip for my 86 too but damn it's insane how some of these companies try to make you pay for a damn lip...

I looked into this about a year ago when absolutely no cheap FRS lips were available, and what I found is that while the length is correct, the fangs or points on the bumper do not line up. So, unless its something very flat (i.e. APR splitter), it's going to look weird.

thats what im really looking into is the fangs, i was comparing pictures useing the headlights as a referance point. i might jus get the sti lip and shave it smooth

yea prices are crazy and the styles they make are just ugly. fang delete is the news ugly thing

There used to be a CS style flat lip for the FRS, but it seems to have disappeared. It was the closest thing to the BRZ lips.

The varis front lip does kinda look like it.. but damn expensive for just a lip...

ya i know the cs lip but it was too plain, i like the little winglets on the sti wing
