Regardless of what people feel about loud exhaust, Nameless said they were working on it - found the quote I was referring to - it was in a press clip about the Cosworth partnership which they posted on Facebook and here... so it was (and hopefully still is) on their mind:

Cosworth and Nameless engineered additional enhancements to the system to make it part of their performance package. The 4 into 2 into 1 manifold has equal length pipes, is made from aircraft quality T304 stainless steel and is available with the option of a ceramic heat proof coating. The exhaust system is made from T304 stainless steel with a 3-inch bore throughout and mandrel bent curves to ensure smooth gas flow through the entire system. Two resonators and additional muffler capacity keep the noise output close to stock with a drive-by level of 90dB (stock 83dB) and 69dB at idle measured 0.5 meters from tailpipe (stock 66dB). A high flow sports CAT keeps emissions legal (in most territories) while keeping the gas flow as free and unhindered as possible.

I'm probably going to run stock catback with my header. Track pipe I have will probably be more than I can handle for dd. I plan to get the front/overpipe. Dunno if I will go 2.5 or 3. The fp/op will probably wait until after. 4.56 final drive however. I'm very anxious for my header!

Hope we get a stock vs header+3"op/fp + stock cat back comparison

I mean guy.. "for looks for a car meet" .... that is the epitome of "form over function"
Not to also mention 3" exhausts see much higher gains on TURBO rather than any supercharger.

Function > Form amirite?

Personally, his comments helped me seak out the Q300 and honestly, it is the best thing i have done to get the sound quality where it needs to be for me with headers and full exhaust.

anyway... lets see some more results today
QFT. These cars are ridiculously loud and raspy with header and the wrong exhaust selections. I've had loud cars before but this one is something else altogether.

The header results look great! Let's all chip in and get a head to head same day, same car dyno done on some of the major headers available now?

This. Even if its ecutek at least not locked will solve all problems.

Is there any reason to think there won't be similar gains using ECUTek, OFT, or Romraider?

And are there any heat concerns with bringing the header into the engine bay?

Ecutek will squeeze out a bit more as long as its custom tuned. Probably not a drastic difference, but not every car is the same like the OFT maps work. If anything, a few horses here and there and torque.

Heat should not be a concern with it wrapping up front. There's tons of room in this engine bay. The only time I've seen it get extremely hot was in the 100 degree summers, or a turbocharged engine. I'd recommend the ceramic thermal coating if heat is a concern. It really helps a lot.
