Out of curiosity, anyone get their silver ignition OptiCoated? I'm wondering how much a difference it made to the depth of color if at all. People that have it done usually have paint correction too so it's difficult to say what is for any change in color depth.

I ordered from dr paint chip and it matched perfectly... sadly it won't stick to plastic if the primer left with the chip.

I recently ordered a spraycan from http://www.paintscratch.com/ to fix some of the underside scratches on my bumper... will report back when I get it.

#1496 Anchorage, Alaska

Went in to look at an FRS/BRZ Saturday and came home with a second car. Didn't even know it was special or that the series 10 existed until I noticed the number on the door later that evening and did a google search. Lucky day!

I had OC applied to mine. Very happy with the results.

I also went with a clear bra (xpel ultimate), which looks great but isn't holding up too well. Coming loose in a couple of spots after 6 months. Not a good sign for the long term. Although I am chip free still, which is saying a lot after this winter. Am taking it into the shop to have my PPF problems looked at by the installer later today. He says he can clean up the loose bits and glue them back in place. Hmmm...

In regards to any affects that the opti-coat had on the colour...difficult to say as I had it applied the day after purchasing. I will suggest that it does help. It certainly has a nice sheen to it.

I purchased a 5A spoiler and shark fin antenna over the winter. Will install in the spring when I get the summer wheels on. Will get them done up in OC2 before the go on.

@NepeanFR-S
Be careful when they trim the edges of the Xpel film. Make sure you get someone that wont cut too deep into the paint. Seems like you need to find a different installer also. I have had Xpel last 5+ years without yellowing or peeling.

So did you opticoat first then clear bra or opticoat over the clear bra? I'm wondering if the clear is having trouble adhering to the OC.
