I popped off the black plastic caps and took all the screws off the top to get those in it's well documented in this thread.

It's worth every penny I thought it would be a tad too short to rest my arm on considering how thin it is but every downshift my arm rests comfortably on it.

Grab a cardboard box, push the screw into the cardboard until just the head stick out, grab black rattle can and do a couple light passes, wait 5 min before installing. Simple solution.

I installed this yesterday, and took off the padded top to install. I had the toughest time putting the plastic caps back on the screws and could only get 3 of them to actually stay on. Am I missing something to easily snap the caps back on?

Just FYI that little notch is big enough for my original iphone charger but the iphone/usb charger that came with the FRS is slightly too thick. It still works but it creates a hump and the armrest isn't 100% level.

I didn't realize i've owned this armrest for almost a year now and I still love it. It still looks great and I don't miss the cup holders.

The FRS came with a charger?

Either way, thanks for the tip. Most of my cords are pretty slim so I think it'll be alright.

Glad to hear you still love it and it's holding up well!
