I got my BRZ Swift springs installed a while ago but I drive an 86. Initial impressions, the car isn't as bouncy as stock anymore. Sometimes I get dizzy because of all the bouncing. They aren't harsh at all. Bumpy roads used to be like a person on a trampoline especially in the rear. Now its just like doing jumping jacks. For me I consider it a harsh ride when it's like you're jumping on just using your forefoot and calves without bending your knees and landing on your heels with a straight knee. Lol! I was surprised how slammed my car looked afterwards (Maybe because of my tire selection as well).

My question is, should I wait a week before I align it? How long should I wait for it to settle? How much lower will it get?

after a day or two of driving the springs will have seated and broken in. I did an alignment maybe a week or two after i installed just because i was waiting for my camber bolts

Bump for question...
Do the FRS Swifts need to be mounted with the logo upside down, while the rears mount with logo rightside up? Seems to be conflicting data on this....
Thanks guys

All mount logo up, or rightside as you describe

All my logos were mounted right side up, but I noticed the rear springs seemed to have "stacked" on each other on both sides on top. The fronts look normal, but the rear has about 3 coils touching each other. Another member had posted about this before if I remember correctly.

They are the FRS springs on stock shocks. Any input on this from anyone?

That is normal on most, if not all, aftermarket progressive springs. They're designed to sit that way, where the closer coils stack on each other similar to how a helper springs works in a coilover...as explained here:

Thank you for the informative post Fizz.

Edit: I wasn't aware Swift Springs were progressive. I always thought they were linear rates. Anyone else care to chime in.
