GWS, also this is why I always sit at lights in gear, that little chance someone decides to try and kill me.

At least you will get yourself a new car. And most important...you were not injured. Sometimes that's just the way life works out. Timing is not always on our side. We all want to see what your new ride looks like. Post some pics when you get it

Don't settle for their first offer. They always lowball you on that one. My wife works for a personal injury lawyer. PM me with any questions and I, meaning she, will try and put you on a good path to recovery.

It'll buff right out!

On a serious note, glad everyone involved is okay.

I am very glad and you should be proud you revved and dumped clutch when you did. You have no idea.

You obviously understand why this helped or you wouldnt have done it. Loosening the car means you translate the impact into the cars rotation..it is more likely the oncomer will spin your car to the side vs tcontinue to plow through it if the tires keep trying to grip.

I am happy you are safe!

It also means that he moved forwards, which made the impact occur on the rear quarterpanel rather than the driver's door.

well it means that the car "rotated" forwards more than anything when it was hit . Instead of it sending the entire car in the direction of impact, it more or less helped spin the car, and thus the driver around a central point ..rather than just suddenly change the cars direction which coulda made any whiplash a ton worse!

If someone hit my twin and did that amount of damage, he wouldn't be able to walk for a good 6 months after I would be done with him. (And no, not in that way, you pervs, I've seen that "Are you gross thread")

I would say totalled. Hope you get a really, really good replacement after what that joker did to you. Hope you're alright.
From all the totaled and damaged FRS I have seen, it seems like our car does have a "hit me symbol" on it

I've been reading these forums for a while. I have to ask when you were sitting there was the clutch engaged? There seems to be some that think it shouldn't be at a red light. I personally don't keep it in but that may have saved your life if it was. Glad your ok and hopefully get a brand new frs!!! I know I love mine and I'd be pissed if someone hit her.
