Well I Jinxed myself, voted no last week, then this week they show up with 2700 on the odo. Oh well, its not that much of a bother. I can barely hear them in the car.

I will confirm this "new pump" since I've had an adventure already. Just one email away from an answer.

Confirm a part number with them and I'll tell you if its a new one or not.

Anyone want to confirm if this is actually new parts or not?

I was told it would be next week before it was done and they called me today saying it was finished come pick it up. Unfortunately I was too late to pick it up and didn't have a tech to ask about the vin range thing.

That's the part number they just put on mine which has fixed them for now. Even if they come back, it's better than dealing with the daily chirping.

Most of them are. You just need to go in armed with knowledge, evidence, and part numbers. They'll treat you much better when you show them what you know, unless they're just total asshats.

Yeah, I just told them it was my fuel pump, didn't do any research on part #'s.

I was one of the first few with that pump. I thought it was the one and then I was quickly let down after 250 miles. Waiting on the next plan.....

Well, I had my pump replaced and it sounds GREAT!!!! I just hope it stays that way. Been putting in [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006I065BO/ref=oh_details_o03_s02_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1"]Amazon.com: Rislone 4701 Fuel Injector Cleaner UCL - 6 oz.: Automotive[/ame] every other tank. The motor sounds MUCH better then when I bought it new.

My "new" pump is on back order of course. Crickets have been calm lately though. Not looking forward to getting the new pump installed since I know it's not going to fix the issue, but I'd rather do something than nothing at all. At least I'm making the dealership aware of the issue

It took my dealership about a month to get mine when it was on back order in December :|
